Regent Brass team up with their sister band Regent Community band to take the opportunity to run through their respective set test pieces for the forthcoming London & Southern Counties regional Brass Band contest. Under the baton of Nick Thompson the band will perform the set test, Land of the Long White Cloud by Philip Sparke. Regular band Musical Director Paul Archibald will take the helm for a performance of Malcolm Arnold’s Suite for Brass. Regent Community Band, conducted by Chris Bearman will perform their set test, Alan Fernie’s St Andrews Variations and other works.
The concert will be held at the Lawrence Hall in University of West London, Ealing.
The contest will be held in the Gordon Craig Leisure Centre in Stevenage on Sunday 19th March.
